Thanks for visiting my blog. You’ve probably noticed that I tend to include lots of statistics and graphs. This is because I believe that purchasing a home is one of the biggest investments most people make.  I find it amazing that people will often spend more time analyzing a $10,000 potential stock purchase than a $500,000 real estate purchase.  Even homes that are primary residences, are in fact, major real estate investments, and should be given a thorough analysis prior to purchase. Prior to real estate I held several senior management positions with high technology companies such as Palm Inc., Apple Computer, Hewlett Packard Company, and Digital Equipment.  During this stint I frequently was asked to present major investment proposals to all levels across the organization.  To help me sharpen my skills I obtained my M.B.A. at an evening program at Santa Clara University while working full time. I’ve tried to map this experience to real estate in order to give each client personalized advice.
